Thankfully Thinking

Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow."
- Melody Beattie

While the November calendar reminds us to focus on thankfulness one day later this month, we at the Healer Within Foundation prefer to begin right now! We have amazing donors, board members, volunteer teams, trainers, trainees, practice leaders and group attendees all across the country…and around the world! Because of the dedication of these friends in Qi, we see our mission and vision come to life. There are so many who deserve our thanks for their contributions!

So, as you look at this month's newsletter, you may notice we’re doing quite a bit of thanking and celebrating. Things like:

  • Three successful Educational Symposiums held on October 26th
  • Program Enrichment Team program on November 7th
  • New t-shirt campaign - Order NOW through November 11th
  • Welcoming new Tai Chi Easy™ Practice Leaders
  • Our 5th Saturday Gathering On The Cloud, November 30th
  • The many ways to help support the mission of Healer Within Foundation
We’re also thankful for you, our newsletter readers. Your interest in our goal of training thousands to improve the health of millions keeps us energized. We’re happy to have you with us as we spread the word about Qigong, Tai Chi Easy™ and other self-healing practices. We hope you will read on and join us as we say, “Thanks!”

Be well,
Your friends at the Healer Within Foundation

Educational Symposiums

Our first ever Tai Chi Easy™ Educational Symposiums were held October 26th in Tempe, AZ, Carpinteria, CA., and White Plains, NY.. These one-day community friend-raiser/fundraisers were a huge success and we hope to sponsor several more in 2020!

Our deep gratitude to those who made these events possible:

  • New York: Kele Baker and Cari Shurman who presented and Toni Horn and Sharon Infante, for their help with event organization and assisting throughout the day.
  • California: Jessica Kolbe who organized and presented at the event along with co-presenters, Trish Shade and Terry Perretz.
  • Arizona: Roxanne Reynolds who organized and presented at the event along with co-presenter, Bina Bou. Also, to Leslie Cook for her help with promotion and venue.

Our sincere thanks go out to all who participated in these events  - and to all of our Qi Community who are helping with the Tai Chi Easy™ Dissemination Project! The more we share, the better we are funded, and the more people we can reach with Tai Chi Easy™, Qigong and other self-healing, mind-body-spirit practices. Your interest, contributions and commitment are truly appreciated.

 Program Enrichment Team Meeting

If you are currently planning a Tai Chi Easy™ Practice Leader training event or are considering organizing an event in the future, please plan to join us via Zoom on Thursday, November 7th at 1:00pm PST/4:00pm EST for our Program Enrichment Team (PET) meeting.

PET meetings focus on the development and refinement of the procedures and protocols associated with producing a Tai Chi Easy™ Practice Leader training event. This forum not only allows HWF to share new information with training team members and local project managers, but allows these team members to share valuable lessons learned with one another. The feedback shared is invaluable and allows us all to improve and grow!

Our meeting this month will focus on best practices and planning for the time after the training event. We'll be joined by trainers who have recently held events who will share some of their "real-life", lessons leaned.

If you would like to attend, please contact Christie Ward for more information. Thank you!

Welcome New Practice Leaders!

Congratulations to the new Tai Chi Easy Practice Leaders who were trained last month in Cleveland, Ohio! Big thanks to the training teams who make these events - and our continued dissemination of mind, body, spirit practices - possible!
