 In this course, you will: 

  • Learn energetics of organ meridian functions.
  • Identify western medical internal organ physiology that corresponds to meridian functions.
  • Practice QiGong that may be introduced as a treatment modality for patients in a clinical setting.

  • Enhance the application and understanding of evidence based, mind-body-spirit Qigong practices. Therefore, gain a deeper and broader understanding of how the mind and the body together affect organ meridians.

  • Increase understanding and ability to appreciate and articulate the purpose and health benefits of a regular QiGong practice.

  • Interpret essential building blocks of TCM (e.g., the 8 principles), through the lens of QiGong philosophy and practice to enhance and broaden the practitioner’s capacity to the more subtle aspects of Qi and presenting symptomatology.

  •  

    Develop a more nuanced and patient-focused approach prior, during and post consultation.

Dr. Gayl Hubatch, OMD, L.Ac. Doctor of Oriental Medicine, is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, author and HeartMath Trainer. She has led Qigong classes and practiced energy medicine for over 30 years, bringing a wealth of knowledge to her courses. Dr. Gayl has been a lead Trainer through Healer Within Foundation and IIQTC (Integral Institute for Qigong and Tai Chi) in several online global events and Omega, Kripalu, Esalen. QiGong is at the heart of her practice, along with Acupuncture, Herbology, and Bodymind therapies in Austin, TX.  Gayl also offers trainings and coaching in person and online. She believes integrating eastern and western medicine is vital in today’s world.
